Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have their families’ blessing to walk down the aisle.
Shortly after the former Disney star, 19, announced her engagement Wednesday and told People she was looking “forward to a life of happiness” with the22-year-old Australian actor, her dad took to Twitter to share his excitement.
"All I ever hoped for as a Daddy was to see my kids reach their dreams," singer-actor Billy Ray Cyrus, 50, tweeted. "To find happiness...peace of mind ...and someday know... true love."
The bride-to-be’s mom, Tish, also said she was thrilled by the wedding news.
“Wow! All of the LOVE pouring out for Miley and Liam is incredible!” the family matriarch wrote on Twitter early Thursday. “So happy for my precious baby girl and the love of her life!”
Hemsworth’s family Down Under is said to also be delighted for the young couple, who began dating in 2009 when they costarred in “The Last Song” in Georgia.
"They spend Christmas and other holidays together. They've been down to Australia," a source told People.

“He wanted something really romantic and beautiful,” Lane told The News, describing his collaboration with the future groom. “Hopefully it’s something different. It’s all handmade with a 19th century cushion-cut diamond.”
Cyrus, who was photographed wearing the symbolic sparkler Wednesday in Beverly Hills, also went online to thank her fans for their well wishes.
