Skylar Laine returns to sing Reba McEntire's Turn on the Radio (directly to Steven Tyler for the first line). Can Reba herself be far behind?
Nope, she's on stage before the end of the first verse.
Reba and Skylar blend better than Phillip Phillips and John Fogerty. Skylar looks like she belongs on stage with Reba -- this performance may help her in Nashville as much as anything she did on Idol this season. Might be my favorite number of the night so far. "Amazing, amazing!" Randy says.
But is Randy talking about the duet or the look into Steven Tyler's dressing room that's the next video segment? It includes a look at the white organ on which Steven Tyler wrote Dream On.
Skylar's not the only one who can sing a country song. It's just that Jessica Sanchez sings I Will Always Love You more like Whitney Houston than Dolly Parton.
Up next, it's the guys of the Top 12. The girls got Chaka Khan, the guys get Neil Diamond. They start with America (Heejun's lines are a blast), followed by Cracklin' Rosie and I'm a Believer (where Heejun doesn't sound as good). After that, Colton Dixon introduces Neil, who sings Sweet Caroline. The guys do the "So good! So good! So good!" part.
